Ka'u Honey Typica Medium-light Roast

We’re excited to offer our honey process Typica, also known as a semi-wash or pulp-natural. In this process we depulp the skin of the cherries then lay them on drying racks with some of the sugary layer still intact. At this stage it ferments while it’s drying creating a yellow/golden look once it’s dried.

 Deep floral aroma, lush and full bodied, simply smooth with notes of sweet honey, caramel and milk chocolate.

We are proud to have entered this process in the Specialty Coffee Association of America’s International Cupping Competitions where we earned coffee of the year awards in 2007 - 6th place, 2010 - 7th place, and 2012 - 7th place all scoring over 85 points!
