Ka'u Full Wash Typica - Medium Roast

Our Kau Full Wash Typica Medium Roast greets the palate with a symphony of flavors reminiscent of chocolate, followed by a balanced acidity, not too strong but not too mellow either. Delicately lingering on the senses, this roast smoothly concludes its performance with a simple chocolatey caramel after taste.

Grown on the rich soils of Mauna Loa's southern slope, this coffee goes through a fully washed process and contains our Typica variety. This process involves de-pulping the red cherries and through fermentation in water it loosens the sugary layer. The beans are finally “washed” out removing that sugary layer creating a cleaner brighter cup.
