Ka'u Full Wash Typica - Dark Roast

Out of our three classic roasts, the dark roast is our most defined and smooth. At first sip, experience an intense velvety smoothness with distinct notes of chocolate brilliance, before being serenely balanced by a long dark sweet caramel aftertaste. Our classic Ka'u Full-Wash dark roast is a must-try for coffee lovers seeking a lower caffeine content and a heightened flavor experience. 

Aroma: Floral, Chocolate, Honey

Notes: Chocolate, Carmel, brown sugar, molasses

Grown on the rich soils of Mauna Loa's southern slope, this coffee goes through a fully washed process and contains our Typica variety. This process involves de-pulping the red cherries and through fermentation in water it loosens the sugary layer. The beans are finally “washed” out removing that sugary layer creating a cleaner brighter cup.
